Functions of Ecommerce Integration with SAP B1

Broad Business Requirement

  • As soon as the Customer enters the Purchase order on E-commerce website, it will be posted as Sales Order on SAP Database.
  • Kabeer Team will share the Posting API to Post sales order as required by Ecommerce Team.
  • Where will Ecommerce team use our API? It will be on button click of the e-commerce site or any other action (Scheduler)?
  • If it is on Button Click then Ecommerce Team will enter all PO details (like Customer, Items, Qty etc.) in our Json format on run time and use our URL then sales order will be posted in SAP at the same time.
  • When the Sales Order will be posted in SAP then Sales Order Doc entry will be reflected as a response. This will confirm that the sales order has been successfully posted in SAP.

Data format

  • Outbound API from SAP to Ecommerce will be in JSON Format
  • Inbound API from Ecommerce to SAP will be In JSON format

SAP API will create JSON File >> Publish in a URL >>>> Ecommerce will read URL

Inbound Data Flow

Ecommerce will provide API (JSON) >> SAP will read API >>> Post Sales order using DI -API
