Why Kabeer Has Developed Production Addon

Kabeer Developed Production Addon by understanding the purpose of this addon so that it enables the user to record the routing stage wise production (tracking of work-in-progress (WIP) quantities). As in standard SAP B1, we can post consumption of raw materials stage wise if needed, but stage wise WIP quantity cannot be tracked / managed. So in order to track how much quantity of Stage/WIP has been finished for a day, shift, or production order, Kabeer has developed a Production Addon for SAP B1, which is most relevant to manufacturing industries.

WIP- Production Tracking Addon – Part 2

Purpose

  • The purpose of Production Tracking add-on is to enable the user to record the routing stage wise production (tracking of Work in progress (WIP) quantities).
  • In standard SAP B1, we can post consumption of raw materials stage wise if needed, but stage-wise WIP quantity cannot tracked / managed
  • We would like to track how much quantity of Stage/WIP has been finished for a day, shift or production order

Production Remaining Quantity Addon – Part 3

Production Addon for SAP B1

Purpose

  • The purpose of Production Remaining Quantity add-on is to enable the users to determine the information of the actual required quantity for the specific Production order
  • Production Remaining Quantity addon automatically calculates how many quantities are left in his WIP warehouse for the forthcoming Production process

Functions of Production Remaining Quantity Addon

Configuration

For the configuration process, the user must ensure that this add-on is connected to their system in order to perform automatic calculations.

Transactions

Production Order
  • In Production order screen, the user just has to follow the standard process to manufacture the SFG or FG item and consume the component materials
  • In the first step, just make sure all the standard information is there to add the document in a planned mode. One Validation is also there; Warehouse should be WIP for the item Category except Resources and By-Products
Production Order – Validate

It is crucial to reopen the document and click the VALIDATE button to accurately calculate the Required Quantity for production planning. Don’t forget to take this necessary step to ensure a successful production process.

Stock Transfer Request
  • If the Remaining Value popup is in the +ve format, the user will be restricted from creating a Transfer Request document. This is because it indicates that even after consuming the current planning quantity from the remaining stock, the value in +ve format is still left in the system. This means that the user can continue their production process without needing to raise a Transfer Request document.
  • If the value comes in a negative format, the system will allow the user to create a Transfer Request document. This indicates that the user does not have sufficient stock to complete their remaining production process.

BOM vs Actual Production Order Report

This report shows the result of RM quantity in production actual vs. recommended through BOM:

  • The report tells about the RM quantity consumed as per daily production vs. RM quantity defined in BOM. The report shows the comparison of RM quantity (additional usage or if material required less as defined in BOM).
  • You will see the additional quantity of RM required for production.
    If you use any alternate items of RM, you can see in this report as well
Material Consumption Report:

This report shows the RM stock history from where it is consumed/issues like:

  • RM Item gets issued in Production order (through Issue for Production document)
  • RM Item gets issued through Good Issue document (Consumables items) not linked in BOM

This report provides the status of Items by Batch and Bin location wise

BIN Wise Stock Report
  • This report shows the BIN-wise Stock data with Purchase, Opening, Closing, Production Consumption, Sales, etc
