Barcode / QR Code Scanner Addon Overview

The purpose of the Barcode Scanner Addon for SAP B1 is to enable traceability of inventory through barcode stickers using barcode/QR code functionality and scanning using handheld devices as per the FIFO system during dispatch or consumption of material.
Barcodes/QR stickers can be printed / applied during GRPO (Good Receipt PO), production order (receipt from production—FG), good receipt, and AR credit memo (Customer Returns).
Scanning can be done on Delivery to Customer, AR Invoice, AP Credit Memo, Production Order (Issue for Production-RM), Good Issue, and Inventory Transfer.

The user must update the no. of the Barcode Print item wise; after that, click on the Print Barcode button to take sticker printing.

In Barcode Scanner Addon, Scanning can be done on various processes like dispatch/delivery to Customer, AR Invoice, AP Credit memo, Production order RM Issue, Good Issue, and Inventory Transfer.
Process for Issuing Material to Production :
When the User wants to send material from the RM Store to the Production area / Location for manufacturing, at that time User can select Batch no. (of RM items) on the basis of FIFO (First in, First Out). So, the User can SCAN the barcode and transfer the goods from RM to the Production Area.
At the time of scanning the Barcode, only batch column data should be scanned (i.e., There is a complete Sticker of the barcode, but when the user transfers Raw material, that time system must have to scan only Batch column data, not Bin location.)

Issue for Production Batch Screen

At the time of scanning the barcode sticker, only batch column data should be scanned as per the FIFO system; batch no. will be automatically selected to the next screen (selected batches).
